Make a paper cylinder or an open tube from your chosen diameter and height. Add one or two circular ends, with folding tabs along the side panel.
Print at Actual size / 100%. Check that the scale line measures 50 mm (1.97 in).
The preview is scaled to fit your screen. Downloads keep the actual dimensions, with no dimension labels over the template.
The rectangular side panel is π × diameter wide and the same height as the finished cylinder. Each circular end has the diameter you enter. Glue tabs are added outside these dimensions.
Cut the solid outlines and fold the dashed lines. Roll the rectangle into a tube and glue its side seam. For a closed cylinder, fold the small end tabs inward and attach the separate circular ends.
Yes. Choose Open tube for no circular ends, one circular end for a cup-like model, or two circular ends for a closed cylinder.
They describe the geometric cylinder at the center of the printed line. Paper thickness and the glued seam can affect the assembled dimensions, so make a test piece if fit matters.
US Letter, US Legal, A4 and A3 are available. Oversized templates are split across sheets without shrinking. ROW and COL identify tile positions; COPY identifies the set. Trim at the printed border and align the 5 mm overlap marks. PDF includes all pages; SVG saves the current preview page. The limit is 100 pages and 100 sets.
Dimensions are measured at line centers. Curves are approximated with fine line segments. Solid lines are cutting lines and dashed lines are folds, except when you choose a dashed spiral style. Small glue tabs may be limited automatically. Allow for paper thickness, glue and printer accuracy when assembling.
