Ring and donut stencil sizes

For a circular ring, band width is half the difference between outer and inner diameter. Enter both diameters or choose band width. An inner diameter of zero makes a solid circle.

Ellipse, C-shape and slit ring options

Elliptical rings use separate horizontal and vertical diameters. Band sizing subtracts twice the width from both diameters; it does not create a constant perpendicular offset around the ellipse. A slit adds one cut line on the right. A C-shape removes an angular section and joins its two ends.

Which edge should I cut first?

Cut the inner hole first while the surrounding paper supports it, then cut the outside.

Can the inner line be dashed?

Yes. Choose the inner line style in More options.
